THE FIRST STROKE

Every Anuvia design begins as an original artwork inspired by nature, florals and watercolour forms. Before a saree is ever painted, colours, movement and composition are carefully developed by hand.

Each motif is first sketched and refined until the artwork feels balanced, fluid and timeless. What eventually appears on fabric begins here—with a single brushstroke and an idea.

PAINTING BEGINS

Once the artwork is complete, the design is carefully painted onto fabric by hand. Every flower, leaf and detail is individually crafted using artist-grade pigments and fine brushes.

This is a slow and deliberate process. Depending on the complexity of the design, a single saree may take several days to complete. No screens, no printing and no mass production—only patient craftsmanship and countless brushstrokes.
