As every Anuvia saree is crafted specially upon order, cancellations are not possible once an order is confirmed. Returns or exchange are accepted only in case of a damaged or incorrect product. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery and our team will assist you.
FROM THE ARTIST
While painting Petunia, I wasn’t trying to recreate the flower exactly. Instead, I wanted to capture its feeling—the softness of its petals, the way light passes through them, and the calm they bring.
Each bloom is painted with gentle layers rather than sharp edges, allowing the petals to remain slightly abstract, almost as if they’re dissolving into the silk itself. I left generous spaces between the florals so the organza could breathe, letting the fabric become as much a part of the artwork as the paint.

Will the paint wash off?
No. We use fabric-specific artist pigments that are carefully fixed into the fabric. With proper care, the artwork remains vibrant and beautiful for years.
Is every saree truly one of a kind?
Yes. Since each piece is painted individually, no two sarees are ever exactly alike. Every creation carries the signature of the artist’s hand.
Why does a hand painted saree take 3-4 weeks to dispatch?
We do not mass produce our sarees. Once your order is received, the fabric is prepared and dyed specifically for your piece. The artwork is then painted entirely by hand, one brushstroke at a time, followed by drying, finishing and careful quality inspection. This slow process ensures every saree is truly unique and worthy of being worn for years to come.
Will I receive updates during the creation process?
Yes, we share progress updates as your saree is being painted and finished before dispatch.
Will my saree look exactly like the photographs?
Each Anuvia saree is painted by hand, making every piece unique. Small variations in brushwork and colour are part of the beauty of handcrafted art.
How should I wash my hand-painted saree?
We recommend gentle dry cleaning for the best longevity. If washing at home, use cold water and a mild detergent. Avoid scrubbing, soaking for long periods, or machine washing.
